Originally conceived as a circular house, Dad was put off by the harder-to-build curves, so he redesigned and built the house as a diamond-shaped duplex with moveable partitions across the short diagonal of the diamond. It was not until its renovation in 2002 that it became one large house. Located on the canyon wall high above the resort, the Diamond House enjoys the most spectacular views of the canyon available at Forest Houses. This is our most private and secluded house with flagstone patios at both ends, a free-standing fireplace, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (Queen beds), a Queen Murphy bed in the south living room and a ladder climbing up into a loft with a twin bed.
